Hi, I’m Tessa. Thank you for being here. I started my private practice in 2020, when we were all in need of some intentional therapy. When I’m not working, I enjoy laughter and good conversations with friends and family, reading, gardening, traveling, spending time in nature, and cooking at home with my partner.

My background in community mental health, writing and journalism, social activism, and the service industry informs the work I do. I am committed to bringing intention, empathy, and directness to every session. Real talk combined with really caring.

I remain committed to always having sliding scale spots in my practice for those who cannot afford market rates for therapy, and to working with clients from all backgrounds, cultural identities, and lived experiences.

Allied with the queer community, sex positive, welcoming of all relationships, and dedicated to multicultural inclusivity and upholding intersectional feminist values.

That’s enough about me, I’m here to listen to you. Feel free to reach out with any questions, and thanks again for your time.
